Sources
The Library - browse, upload, curate, search, and manage your photos - is available on:
- Web - desktop or laptop browser at eyedeeaphotos.com
- Android - the full Eyedeea Photos mobile app
It is not available on view-only apps such as Fire TV, Google TV, or LG TV. Those apps play the synchronized View slideshow only. Manage your library on a computer or Android device, then watch on the big screen.
The Sources tab connects a local folder on your computer to your household library so you can scan an existing collection without uploading everything manually.
The Sources tab is available on web (desktop/laptop) only - not on Android or view-only TV apps. The rest of the Library is on desktop, laptop, and Android.
What sources do
A source is a folder on your desktop or laptop that Eyedeea watches and indexes.
When you scan a source, photos are imported into your cloud library and become eligible for Auto Curation.

Typical workflow
- Open Library → Sources.
- Add a local folder path.
- Run a scan - progress appears in a modal; large libraries take longer.
- After import, auto-curation organizes new photos like any upload.
Good to know
- Sources require the web app on desktop or laptop with filesystem access.
- Scanning reads metadata and copies photos into your household storage - plan limits still apply.
- For day-to-day phone photos, use Upload instead.
