Auto Curation
Auto curation helps turn a messy photo library into organized albums with minimal manual work.
What it does
When you upload photos or run curation on a folder, Eyedeea Photos:
- Analyzes your images - dates, locations, scenes, and faces
- Groups photos into meaningful events (trips, outings, everyday moments)
- Organizes them into curated albums while keeping your original folder structure visible
- Names albums with human-friendly titles when possible
You stay in control: photos move into curated folders based on rules you can review, not a closed library model.
When to use it
- After uploading a large batch of photos from a phone or drive
- When raw folders are hard to browse and you want event-based albums
- When you want AI to suggest groupings before you fine-tune names and covers
What you see
- Progress while processing runs in the background
- New curated folders and albums in your library
- Updated counts in Know Your Photos (raw vs curated, duplicates, blurry, storage)
Tips
- Curation works best when photos have capture dates or GPS data
- You can re-run curation on selected folders after adding more photos
- Review sensitive or blurry findings separately in cleanup workflows
Processing runs in the background - you can keep browsing while it works.
