Offline sync
Android app only
Offline sync is available only in the Android app. The web browser and view-only TV apps (Fire TV, Google TV) do not download albums for offline use.
The Android app can download selected albums for offline viewing when you have no network connection.
How to sync
- Open an album in the Android app.
- Choose Sync for offline (or equivalent control).
- Wait for download to complete - progress is shown in the app.
- View synced photos without connectivity.
Limits
Offline storage uses device space. Large albums may take time on slow connections.
Account requirement
You must be signed in on Android with the same account used on the web. Offline packs are scoped to your household.
