Android

Where the Library is available

The Library - browse, upload, curate, search, and manage your photos - is available on:

  • Web - desktop or laptop browser at eyedeeaphotos.com
  • Android - the full Eyedeea Photos mobile app

It is not available on view-only apps such as Fire TV, Google TV, or LG TV. Those apps play the synchronized View slideshow only. Manage your library on a computer or Android device, then watch on the big screen.

The Android app includes the full Library - browse, upload, search, People, Share, and more - plus View and offline sync. TV apps (Fire TV, Google TV) are view-only and do not include the Library.

Before you install​

Register on the website first. Account creation and subscription happen on the web app, not in the Android app.

Install​

  1. Join the Play test group (link from your tester invite).
  2. Install Eyedeea Photos from Google Play.
  3. Sign in with the same Google account used on the web.

Upload photos​

  • Share to Eyedeea from Gallery or other apps, or
  • Use in-app upload from the Library.

Prefer photos taken with the phone camera - they usually include GPS for location albums. Photos from messaging apps may have location stripped.

Offline sync​

Selected albums can sync for offline viewing. See Offline sync.
