Fire TV

View-only app - no Library

TV apps such as Fire TV, Google TV, and LG TV are view-only. You can watch the server-synchronized View slideshow, but you cannot browse albums, upload, search, or manage your library on the TV.

To organize photos: use the web app on a desktop or laptop, or the Android app. Changes sync automatically to your TV.

The Fire TV app is a view-only client. It displays the server-synchronized View slideshow on your TV. It does not include the Library - you cannot browse albums, upload, or manage photos on Fire TV.

Setup

  1. Install Eyedeea Photos from the Amazon Appstore on Fire TV.
  2. On first launch, note the device code on screen.
  3. On a desktop, laptop, or Android device, go to Settings → Devices on the web app and enter the code to link the TV.
  4. Once linked, the slideshow from your household syncs to the TV app.

Organize photos on web or Android first; Fire TV plays what you have already curated.

What to test

  • Slideshow starts and advances automatically
  • Correct photos appear for linked household
  • Activation code expires and can be refreshed if needed

Sign-in

Fire TV does not support full OAuth in-app. Device-code linking ties the TV to your existing web account.
